英语难点精讲：change和changes

① change意为“变革，改变”，用作动词时，可作及物动词，也可作不及物动词，构造为：

change（sth.）into sth. 把……变成

change from to sth. 从……变成……

change for sth. 向……方面转化

change with 随同……变革

I have changed my address. 我已换了住址。

Don't change your mind. 不要改变主张。

Heat can change into steam. 热能变成蒸汽。

The wind has changed from north to east. 北风已转成东风了。

The things will change for the better. 情形将会好转。

It changes with the season. 它随着时令而变革。

Times change and we should change with them. 时期是变革的，我们也应随着变。

He changed into another diving suit and went down. 他换上另一件潜水衣又下水了。

The fairy changed the cat into a swan. 仙女把猫变成了一只天鹅。

② change sth. with sb.表示“和某人交流”。

He changed clothes with a classmate. 他同一个同学换衣服穿。

③ change A for B和change A into B均可表示“把某种货币换成另一种货币”。

Where can I change English money for foreign money？我去哪儿能把英国钱换成外国钱？

④ change sth. for sth.意为“用……改换”。

He wants to change a new car.【误】

He wants to change the old car for a new one. 【正】他要换辆新车。

⑤ change作名词用时，是可数名词。

He needs a change of food. 他须要改换炊事。

Great changes have taken place in the city. 这座城市发生了巨大变革。
