电话和他的发明者 The telephone and its Inventor

In the nineteenth century, the invention of the telegraph (电报的发明) made it possible to send noises(杂音), signals(旗子暗记), and even music (音乐)over wires from one place to another. The human voice (人类的声音)had never traveled this way. Many inventors(发明者) tried to find a way to send a voice over wires ,and in 1876, some of its efforts was crowned with success (取获胜利). Two American inventors, Alexander Bell (亚历山大 贝尔)and Elisa Grey (艾丽莎 格瑞)succeeded at almost the same time(险些同时). The United States Supreme Court (美国高等法院) finally had to decide which of the two was the first inventor of the telephone. The court decided in Bell's favor(贝尔赢得了胜利).
