An Interesting Book
One day, it was time for lunch ①. Mr and Mrs White were already at the table. But where was Tom, their only son? Mr White decided to go and ask Tom to have lunch.
When he went into Tom’s bedroom, he found Tom reading a book while lying on his stomach②on the floor. He told Tom to come to lunch immediately③. So Tom did④. Mr White wondered why Tom was so attracted by⑤ the book, so he decided to have a look at the book .
Now, it was the turn of Mrs White and Tom to wait⑥! After some time, Mrs White asked her son to see what his father was up to⑦. Tom went into his bedroom. To his great surprise, his father was lying on his stomach and reading the book he had just been reading. Mr White had forgotten all about the lunch!
